1. About karspec.com

karspec.com ("we", "our", "the Service") is an online vehicle history report platform operated in Kenya. We aggregate and present vehicle data—including auction records, mileage history, accident flags, and inspection sheets—sourced from Japanese vehicle auction databases and associated third-party data providers.

Our reports are intended to support informed vehicle purchasing decisions. They are informational tools only and do not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or professional inspection of any vehicle.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
• You must create an account using a valid email address or a supported OAuth provider (Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
• One account per person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.

3. Reports & Data

Vehicle reports are compiled from Japanese auction records and associated databases. Each report reflects data available at the time of the relevant auction(s) and may not capture events that occurred after the vehicle's most recent auction listing.

Data accuracy disclaimer: While we strive to present accurate information, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of third-party auction data. Auction grades, mileage readings, and condition assessments are recorded by independent auction inspectors. karspec.com does not independently verify this data and is not liable for errors or omissions originating from our data sources.

Reports are licensed for the personal, non-commercial use of the purchasing user only. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish report content without our prior written consent.

4. Payments & Refunds

• Payments are processed securely through Pesapal, which supports M-Pesa, credit/debit cards, and other local payment methods. By making a payment you also agree to Pesapal's terms of service.
• All prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• All purchases are final. Because reports are delivered instantly as digital goods, we do not offer refunds once a report has been unlocked and delivered. If you believe there is a technical error with your payment or report delivery, contact us within 48 hours.
• Purchased report tiers are linked to your account. If you change devices or clear your browser, sign in to the same account to restore access.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on karspec.com—including the karspec logo, site design, compiled report layouts, and UI elements—is the intellectual property of karspec.com and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Auction images displayed within reports remain the property of the originating auction house. We embed a proprietary watermark on all auction images to prevent unauthorised redistribution. Removing or obscuring this watermark is strictly prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated tools.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the platform.
• Share purchased reports commercially without prior written authorisation.
• Provide false information when creating an account or making a payment.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, karspec.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: decisions made based on report data, vehicle purchase outcomes, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party providers. Your use of those integrations is subject to their respective terms:

• Supabase — authentication and data storage (supabase.com/terms)
• Pesapal — payment processing (pesapal.com/terms)
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in (policies.google.com/terms)

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Where changes are material we will notify registered users by email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
